I am SO very excited to show off my new blog design! A huge, huge thank you to Kassie at Designs by Kassie for this amazing new look! It all started this summer -- as usual I was blog stalking (read: avoiding graduate work!) and stumbled across a blog that made me practically drool with envy. The design was so gorgeous! It prompted me to get in touch with Kassie myself and order a design of my own. ...Any time I'd email Kassie with new things I wanted her to try, she would always get back to me the next day with the revisions completed. Her speed really impressed me, and the whole process from when I submitted my order form to completion was less than three weeks. It's almost my one year blogaversary and I decided to treat myself to a makeover. I wanted a crisp, colorful, fresh new look as I start my second year in blogdom. You all know how I love bright colors. If you don’t just take a look at SUNNY and Fabulous Fuchsia. I found Kassie through Holly at 504 Main. I liked the look of Holly’s blog and Holly was very positive about Designs by Kassie. I contacted Kassie with my ideas for a logo and background. I gave her the basics and left the rest to her. The logo and background were perfect on the first draft. I suggested only a couple of minor changes on the sidebar titles and custom watermarks. The watermarks are awesome but I don’t think I have the proper photo editing program to insert them on my photos. That’s not Kassie’s problem just mine. I either have to buy another photo editing program or not use the custom watermarks for now. I also had Kassie design a double-sided business card for me and you can see it on my Custom Work page. Kassie also installed all of the new stuff for me. Who could ask for more! All communication was via email and the whole process took about two weeks from start to finish. I was probably on her waiting list about a week. The price for all of this was very reasonable, with emphasis on the very. Thanks Kassie. I love it. Kassie, Thanks for my blog makeover. Your first logo design was the keeper. I don't know how you got it right with the confusing info I gave you. I love the whole look and it was all accomplished through a series of emails. I will definitely recommend your services and I"m sure I will be calling on your expertise again.

Over the past few weeks I’ve been working with Kassie Garlock, a superstar designer, for a new blog design and layout (look, look...!) I bumped into her site while surfing the Internet one fine day. At that point, I had no intention to give this blog a new look, let alone getting professional help. But Kassie’s designs bowled me over – I absolutely loved her portfolio and I knew she’d be the “one” for me. ;) Without much-ado, please take your attention to Designs by Kassie – her e-studio of gorgeous work. I found an impressive collection of artistic goodies, ranging from funky, sassy and sexy, to elegant, chic and cutesy. The best part (for a stickler like me) was the neatness and clean finish in all of her designs. No wait, the best part actually, is her customer service. A++. I’ve lost count of the number of times I requested revisions, but I remember that every time I did, she promptly responded with the edits; not once refusing to make any alterations (even after we finalized the final draft). Believe me you – after a point it got a little onto me just marking out the changes – while she was really getting them done! Also, her pricing is very reasonable (not that I scouted a lot) but go see for yourself and you'll agree. I am so excited right now! What do you think of my new blog makeover? I am in love with it! I have been debating on this for awhile now. ...Any time I'd email Kassie with new things I wanted her to try, she would always get back to me the next day with the revisions completed. Her speed really impressed me, and the whole process from when I submitted my order form to completion was less than three weeks. It would've been sooner, I'm sure, except I'm picky and kept asking her to change things! ;) She didn't seem to mind, though, and assured me it was all part of the process. She said at least I knew what I wanted, which is better/less frustrating than having someone not like their design, but not really know WHAT they want, making it difficult to know what direction to go in for the design. It's almost my one year blogaversary and I decided to treat myself to a makeover. I wanted a crisp, colorful, fresh new look as I start my second year in blogdom. You all know how I love bright colors. If you don’t just take a look at SUNNY and Fabulous Fuchsia. I found Kassie through Holly at 504 Main. I liked the look of Holly’s blog and Holly was very positive about Designs by Kassie. I contacted Kassie with my ideas for a logo and background. I gave her the basics and left the rest to her. The logo and background were perfect on the first draft. I suggested only a couple of minor changes on the sidebar titles and custom watermarks. The watermarks are awesome but I don’t think I have the proper photo editing program to insert them on my photos. That’s not Kassie’s problem just mine. I either have to buy another photo editing program or not use the custom watermarks for now. I also had Kassie design a double-sided business card for me and you can see it on my Custom Work page. Kassie also installed all of the new stuff for me. Who could ask for more! All communication was via email and the whole process took about two weeks from start to finish. I was probably on her waiting list about a week. The price for all of this was very reasonable, with emphasis on the very. Thanks Kassie. I love it. Kassie, Thanks for my blog makeover. Your first logo design was the keeper. I don't know how you got it right with the confusing info I gave you. I love the whole look and it was all accomplished through a series of emails. I will definitely recommend your services and I"m sure I will be calling on your expertise again.

I’ve wanted a new look for this blog for quite some time. I knew I wanted something clean, simple, happy and bright. Over the past few weeks I’ve been working with Kassie Garlock, a superstar designer, for a new blog design and layout (look, look...!) I bumped into her site while surfing the Internet one fine day. At that point, I had no intention to give this blog a new look, let alone getting professional help. But Kassie’s designs bowled me over – I absolutely loved her portfolio and I knew she’d be the “one” for me. ;) Without much-ado, please take your attention to Designs by Kassie – her e-studio of gorgeous work. I found an impressive collection of artistic goodies, ranging from funky, sassy and sexy, to elegant, chic and cutesy. The best part (for a stickler like me) was the neatness and clean finish in all of her designs. No wait, the best part actually, is her customer service. A++. I’ve lost count of the number of times I requested revisions, but I remember that every time I did, she promptly responded with the edits; not once refusing to make any alterations (even after we finalized the final draft). Believe me you – after a point it got a little onto me just marking out the changes – while she was really getting them done! Also, her pricing is very reasonable (not that I scouted a lot) but go see for yourself and you'll agree. Being fairly new to the blogosphere, I'm more ready and excited about filling up this space, more and more, thanks to my beautiful blog makeover. Kassie, you go girl!

I would like to introduce you all to a great blog designer that I have been very impressed with. Her name is Kassie Garlock. She does great web designs. She also did my blog design and button design! She's good isn't she? So I can say from experience that Kassie is VERY easy to work with. She also listened to me and my many changing of plans and just knew exactly what I wanted each time. She worked with me until I was 100% satisfied. No matter what your style is she has probably already done it. Plus her pricing is VERY reasonable. They are the most reasonable prices I have found.
